Jody Rodenberg Again Named as a Texas Rising Star 

For the sixth consecutive year, our partner Jody Rodenberg is being recognized on the list of Texas Rising Stars as one of the top young lawyers in the state. Honorees are selected by Thomson Reuters’ legal division to recognize outstanding lawyers under the age of 40 and those who have been practicing law for no more than 10 years. Jody’s selection was based on nominations from other lawyers across the state and an extensive review by the publication’s editors.  

Named earlier this year as one of D Magazine’s Top Lawyers Under 40, Jody represents individuals in a wide variety of litigation, including business litigation, catastrophic personal injury, and medical malpractice. She also represents liquidating trustees attempting to collect and liquidate assets for the benefit of creditors.  

 

Jody earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. While at SMU, she actively participated in moot court and was a member of the SMU Law Review.

My insurance company refused to cover my injuries in an accident where they insured both parties. The other party was unquestionably liable and but did not have sufficient coverage, so damages should have been paid under my uninsured/underinsured coverage. Even though I had paid for uninsured/underinsured coverage for many years, my insurance company refused to pay.
