If you or someone you know has been seriously injured because a Dexcom Receiver glucose monitor failed to warn of a decrease or increase in blood sugar levels, causing you to lose consciousness or become dangerously lightheaded or faint, please call us immediately at 214-720-0720<\/a>.<\/p>\n In February 2016, Dexcom issued a letter to its customers entitled \u201cIMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION \u2013 PLEASE READ.\u201d\u00a0 Dexcom explained it was receiving an increase in complaints for malfunctioning audio alarms and alerts associated with this receiver.\u00a0 On or about April 11, 2016, Dexcom recalled all models and all lots of the G4 Platinum Receiver under a Class I recall.\u00a0 A Class I recall is considered the most serious type of recall because relying on this device may cause serious injury or death.\u00a0 The relevant time period for such events would have been between July 29, 2011 and March 10, 2016.<\/p>\n There is a statute of limitations period by which an individual must file his or her lawsuit within a set time period from the date of the event resulting in injuries.\u00a0 In Texas, that statute of limitations period is two years from the date of injury.<\/p>\n Our investigation is continuing.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>Please call us at 214-720-0720<\/a> for a full update on what we know.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Let us help you.
