Ryan Owen (Baylor University School of Law) represents plaintiffs in a broad range of litigation matters, including personal injury cases and commercial disputes. He has taken depositions and gone to trial, helping win one of the first in-person jury trials in Denton County since the COVID-19 shutdown. Ryan also has experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, responses, and written discovery.
Ryan grew up in North Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington and earned a bachelor’s in business administration. After college, Ryan worked one-on-one with clients as an investment consultant for several years. He went on to attend law school at Baylor, where he actively participated in moot court, mock trial, and Baylor Law Review. During his time at Baylor, Ryan was honored with multiple awards for client advocacy and was recognized for excellence in legal writing.
The most important aspect of Ryan’s law school experience was meeting his wife, Haley. Ryan and Haley married last Spring and recently welcomed their first child. Ryan unwinds by spending time with friends and family traveling, going to Ranger games at the new ballpark, and walking his golden retriever.
