Heather Long (Associate Attorney)

Heather Long has represented plaintiffs in car wrecks, truck wrecks, medical malpractice, negligence, and commercial litigation cases. She focuses on the firm's written motion and appellate practice. She has briefed issues to the Texas courts of appeals and Supreme Court of Texas, obtaining positive results for the firm's clients. Heather is licensed in both Texas and New Mexico, and has successfully defeated motions for summary judgment, dismissal, and venue transfer in those states.

Heather joined the firm after graduating from South Texas College of Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University where the Political Science Department honored her with the Bonnie E. Browne Award which is awarded to the graduating senior with the most outstanding academic record. Heather is a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers 2008 Leadership Class, and coaches moot court at the SMU Dedman School of Law.
